On the contrary i think they are working VERY hard...the plane is bogged and they are probably outbalancing it to lift one of the wheels.Maybe to put something under ...

The top pic was taken from War Machine Vol.1: Heavy bombers of World War II. The centre pic was taken from my own collection. The bottom pic was taken from Nazi Insignia, by E W W Fowler.

The Mistel (Mistletoe) combined a fighter either a (Bf 109 or Fw 190) and a bomber (Ju 88), the latter with its nose replaced by a hollow-charge warhead packed with 3,500 kg (7,700 lb) of explosive.
