Since there are so many other rocket topics these days, I thought I would add another :)

AG Panzerschreck
Gerät für 3 raketen. Einbau in Fw190, bfestigung an Bombenaufhängegerät ETC50

Sounds like a crazy idea! Has anyone ever seen photos of this AG??

The use of these was to ME 262's only I think as the SG's equipped with the Fw 190F and G seem to have a preference for the deadly Panzerblitz rocket.

Photos ?

Do you still want to see this info? I have some basic info and some drawings done by a friend of mine. We are doing research for a book on Luftwaffe armaments....

Hello. I took the liberty of "borrowing" a picture from that web-page. I then added it to a picture of a "standard" panzer schrek rocket, from my collection for comparisment. have a look.

Generally, two types of AT rockets were used for sure, what is proven by photographs - Panzerschreck (standard 8,8 cm RPzBGr 4322 rockets fired from triple semi-opened tube launchers) and Panzerblitz 1 (8 cm R-Sprgr with Panzerschreck warhead). The Panzerblitz 2 aka R 4/HL (R 4/M with Panzerschreck warhead, illustrated above) could possibly be used too (according to some books it was used), I just have not seen any photographic evidence.
