The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil book by J. Richard Smith and Eddie J. Creek (first edition published in 2006, expanded and updated edition published 2017) is the most up-to-date volume on the Dornier Do 335. In one chapter of the expanded 2017 edition of the Do 335 book, there is a mine of hitherto-unpublished information about the Do 435 derivative of the Do 335 with longer wings, including a September 12, 1944 report titled Do335/Do435 - Baureihen, issued by E-Stelle Rechlin E2b, which lists variants of the unbuilt Do 435 and a series of drawings of the unbuilt P.238 high-altitude aircraft, P.254 mixed piston/jet power night fighter, and P.256 jet-powered night fighter.
