Hello von thoma,
I would say his victories per mission ratio is 1.014 but Scheel is correct. Please take the next question.
Cheers,
Max

Thank you von thoma.
In keeping with the theme of Hartmann's wedding, in what establishment did the newlyweds spend their honeymoon?

Max

Hint: The place was located at Bad Wiessee am Tegernsee, south of München.

The response to this question is underwhelming  so let's move along. Erich Hartmann and Ursula Paetsch were married on 9 September 1944 at the town hall in Bad Wiesse at Tegernsee replete with an honor guard of pilots from the Jagdfliegerheim (Fighter Pilot’s Home) where they honeymooned for two weeks.

Will someone take up a new question please?
Cheers,
Max

Ok, I take up.

This Luftwaffe ace pilot fought through Spanish Civil War, Polish Campaign, Battle of France, Battle of Britain... And he is still alive in 2014 and hopefully will have his 103th birthday soon.

Who is he?

Hi durb,
If you are thinking of Günther Scholz I believe he unfortunately passed away on 29 October at age 102.

I think maybe durb has forgotten this thread so in the interest of getting it moving again I will assume Scholz was the only 102 year old Luftwaffe ace that fit his criteria and pose a new question:
What is this symbol?

HI von thoma,
Correct, IV./JG 132 would also have been correct.
Your turn.

Max
