I have been told that the following wreckage is from an He 111 which went down against a cliff near Búðareyri (Budareyri), Reyðarfjörður, east Iceland on 25.1.1941. Would like additional info on this plane...

The details are in for this wreck. My dates had some juxtaposed numbers...
from the Norway During WW2 Forum http://f16.parsimony.net/forum28300/
I'm not aware of any Luftwaffe aircraft being lost at Reyðafjörður on 25.1.1942. There was, however, a He 111 of 4/KG.40, F8+GM, Wnr 3900, that crashed into to mountain Krossanesfjall at Reyðarfjörður at circa 0210 hrs on 22 May 1941. The four-man crew lost is that you have listed as buried at Fossvogur Cemetery 21.5.1941.
