A little something different: I have Obst Richard Wenk from 11.01.1940 to 10.08.1941 and then Gen. Schartow from 10.08.1941 to 19.08.1941.

My source for both is Madeja, the US Army Military Intelligence reprints, probably from ULTRA

The NARA Guide for the records of 167. Inf.Div. has the same commanders given by Bill.

Oberst Richard Wenck 02.08.1941 to 10.08.1941
Generalmajor Werner Schartow 10.08.1941 to 19.08.1941

It also shows it under XIII. AK 08.08.1941 to 20.08.1941

Is it written in the KTB who commanded as deputy 1-11.8.41 the IR 315 or maybe Wenk together ?
Also, who commanded the 167.ID 10.12.43-10.1.44 ?
Do You have div. officers lists ? I miss 2 Ib (until 3.41 and 4-11.42), 1 IIa (until 5.42) and all Ic
