I have both Paul Laux and Hans-Karl von Scheele with the same Generale date of 1.12.43(3). Is this correct?

Of course not. Laux was 01.12.1942 (3). Anyway, I believe there is already a thread for such questions.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
