Thank you ! i didn't notice these auctions ! But who's he ?? The Edelweiß seems to be :
To carry out the offensive on the Weygand line, the 1. Gebirgsdivision, initially attached to the 7. Armee, is made available, from 1 June to 3 July 1940 to the 6. Armee / Heeresgruppe B. The 1. Gebirgsdivision is on the route of the demarcation line in Langon and Bazas near Bordeaux certainly from June 25th or 26th.

The general looks like Karl von Tiedemann, if the middle photo of him at http://www.unithistories.com/officers/b ... /HeerT.htm is correct.
