Thank you everyone who helps in IDing these award holders. I know I greatly appreciate it as it helps me with my collection. Here is another one for you all. This one may be difficult (Yet I have not been able to stump anyone.) This is of a LT with his unit in DEC 1943 celebrating "Bunker Christmas"

Hugo I think you are right. The flat part of his inner ear is the right shape and those sun glasses. It also looks like he had a bad sun burn at the time. My concern is that this photo is without the German cross in gold. I also read somewhere that he was never officially approved for the knights cross.
