Hi,

At least we know that this was taken in the protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia : the Reichsprotektor von Neurath is in the middle (nbr 7 from left) as well as the HSSPF KH Frank (fourth from left).

Hi Mulisch,

Finally found somehting that might interest you.

This I found on Ebay from a 18 Pz photo album. It was no doubt that it did come from said pz division as there were many tank pictures with the famous fish/leviathan motif of II BTL and the 18 Pz div sign. Lots of panzer berets so for sure earlier period.

In the three pcitures that showed the same occasion, the owner wrote down Milowitz -- that's Milowice, east of Prag in today's Czech Republic but no date. In the third one, v Neurath was inexplicably cut out. There is a chance the general in the helmet was the divisional kmdr -- Nehring, but a bit too thin in my opinion. But maybe others can figure out some more about this pic.

The last one was a demonstration. This one looked a lot more like Nehring.

Cheers
Freiherr

There are a number of photos of a parade in Prague 1941 full date not known. Some appear in the book "Prague in the shadow of the Swastika" by Professor Callum Macdonald and Jan Kaplan. My prints were given to me by the late Callum Macdonald when he was one of my tutor at the University of Warwick during the 1990's. Here is one
