Unknown general - perhaps Boehringer?

Can anybody identify this general? It might possibly be Generalmajor Gustav Boehringer because this photo comes from a collection showing Pionier-Bataillon 45, which Boehringer commanded in 1935-1936.

Thanks!

OK, ignore my suggestion that it's Boehringer... he wasn't promoted to Generalmajor until February 1942, and this photo is almost certainly pre-war (between 1936 and 1939).
