Strachwitz in combat

Post by RB » 27 Jan 2007 21:00

Hi!

Graf Strachwitz ("Panzergraf") was famous about leading his troops from the frontline. Inspite of this, I've never seen any photo showing him in the field.
I'm looking for any picture of this great commander, which was not taken in a studio!
Please help!

Thank you in advance!

Hello RB!

Here's a non-studio, non-portrait shot of the Panzergraf...

Image

Hello,

You might want to get a hold of the Dörfler Verlag (German publisher) version of the 'History of Gross Deutschland'.
These books have various pics of the man in action.
Another suggestion is looking through 'GD' sites on the web.

Regards, Blaze.
