FANGIO,
Excellent, many thanks :D . I've looked at the picture on das-ritterkreuz and I'm happy that they're one and the same man. Is my picture new or is it recognised? It's a post war reprint but I'm happy with that.
I bought this picture together with one of RKT Jakob Steckmeier (2 PVA, possibly 1 Gold and 1 Silver?), which I'm happy is correctly labled.
The other 2 photo's picked up are labled as RKT Jakob Heidrich and I've been trying to find some photo's to compare. Does anyone know of or have any photo's of this guy? My photo's show him as a Hauptscharfuhrer with 5 PVA's.

Thanks,

Neil

Hi Neil.

Well, I´m not a collector but in my case, it´s the first time I see a very nice pic of Hirning.

About Jacob Heidrich, are you sure he's a rkt? I can't find any pic of him, at least on www.das-ritterkreuz.de

Best,

FANGIO

OK,
Here's one of the other photo's I picked up. This has SS-Hstf Jakob Heidrich written on it. The photo is a copy of a poor wartime print and clearly shows 5 PVA's. As I can't find any photo's of Heidrich on the web, is this Heidrich or is it someone else? :?

Cheers,

Neil

Apparently not Jakob Heidrich :? The question is then -who?. Hstf in the Waffen SS and 5 PVA's with RK, surely it shouldn't be too difficult to identify. FANGIO's response to my question is in the RK link below, but he's still unidentified.

Hauptmann d.R Walter Hofmeister, received 1 TDB according to his Wehrpass. Awarded 4th July 1942. Can post a scan of this, if needed.

I found this link on the internet when looking for PVA details. Is this OK? Helmut Krenz isn't listed on 'die Ritterkreuz' :? :?
