I've seen a number of times where there's a soldier called "Mangold". Could it be Oberleutnant Hans Magold instead???

I've found this "error" (if you can call it that) in a few books and a number of websites. Does anyone have any info on him?

Wasn't his name Baalstad?

On the photo that have you posted, the bottom Abz. is not like upper ones - the bottom one is more brighter then the other ones. Could be, that he is wearing for 7 destroyed tanks?

Kocjo

I found another Panzernacker, but I don't know if he received Abz.

He is Hitlerjunge Forst (15 years old); who had destroyed 2 T34 with Panzerfaust on 23.4.'45 on the corner of Knieborde and Goldaper Strasse/Berlin.
