Info I have seen has Major WIedermann as the Ib, 21. Pz-DIv. in Tunisia in 1943 and being captured. However in his memoirs Luck places him in the same position on D-Day in France and says he was later a Bundeswehr general. Anyone have any info on this?

Josef Moll:
16.11.1942 - 08.12.1942 Ia XC. AK
16.11.1942 - 30.11.1942 zugleich Chef des Stabes XC. AK (mdstvWdGb)
08.12.1942 - 21.01.1943 Ia PzAOK 5
21.01.1943 - 24.01.1943 Ia 334. InfDiv (mdstvWdGb)
24.01.1943 - 01.02.1943 Ia PzAOK 5
01.02.1943 - 00.02.1943 Ia 10. PzDiv (mdstvWdGb)
00.02.1943 - 28.02.1943 Ia PzAOK 5
01.03.1943 - 09.05.1943 Ic HGr Afrika

It is claimed that Stauffenberg took over as Ia 10. PzDiv on 14.02.1943, but the KTB PzAOK 5 still mentions Moll as Ia on 15.02.1943.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Major Lerche, Ib, 334. ID, captured 14.5.43
Could possibly be Major Wolfgang LERCH.

No, if he was captured in may 43 it can not be Lerch (he was still active in 1944). So Lerche is OK (but I have him as Hptm.)

Hello!
I'll be grateful for some biographical data on Major i.G. Richard FEIGE and on Major i.G. Anton SINKEL, both served in Tunisia (the latter being captured in May 1943).
Regards,

Hello,
Here are a couple of unknown officers. Who knows their identities and their biographies?

Oberstleutnant von KATZLER [with the 21. Panzer-Division]

Major PLESSING [with the 21. Panzer Division]

Hauptmann RICHTER [with the 21.Panzer-Division]

Oberstleutnant von KATZLER turned out to be Oberleutnant Carl Heinz von KATZLER (*14.07.1918).

Major PLESSING was the commander of Marsch-Bataillon A29, renamed around 04.02.1943 to IV./Panzergrenadier-Regiment 104.

Hauptmann RICHTER was the commander of Panzernachrichten-Abteilung 200.
