At last, Horst v Wolff
Well, you kind of live for these days. Ebay has a bunch of pics from a formation associated with v Assmann, His wife was mentioned at the back of a few pics. They were about Assmann in 1943 as Kmdr of IR 478, 258 Div.
Now I see this ...... Obst Wolff, PLM, 1941, so finally we nailed him.
