Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Hello
On the back of that photo I read (3rd line) :
"Lt." then what ? It looks like "Int." but "Lt. Int." has no sense, so ?
Then "Donovang?Danorang" or similar
Finally "Kriegsgerichtsrat Heppel?Keppel" or similar
Can anybody help ?
Thanks

Don't ask me for names, but the card says that the person to the left of the Adjutant is a Stabsintendant.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
For Askropp
So obviously not "Lt. Int."(me fool) but "St.Int." correct. Thanks !
For Glenn
Special thanks for Keppel and Donovang
(correct : Hans-Günther Leutheußer)
The IIb (in the card) should read "Stattmiller", right ? If so, do You (or does anybody) know his first name ?
Finally, do You (or does anybody) have other staff officers (I still miss the O1, O2, Ic, O3, etc.)

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
The above general had been identified as Gen.maj Kurt SCHEFFLER in post#6630 of this thread. It´s hard to compare it with the Samlung Krug picture in the same post.
Looking at the shoulder boards we might think he´s a Sanitättsgeneral.
Cheers.
