Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
I do NOT think that pic a3 on page 441 be Erwim Jolasse : 1.- Jolasse was awarded the rk as an Oberst and that general is not bearing it. 2.-His features do not resemble Jolasse´s.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
With Hindenburg were - in the enlarged pictures - from top to bottom:
Kurt Schreiber as Chef P2 HPA (his next job was Kdt. v. Berlin but after Haase and von Hammerstein-Equord were gone)
Kurt Frhr. v. Hammerstein-Equord as Chef des Stabes 3. Div., Berlin
Otto Haase PLM as Kdr. 3. Div., Berlin
Behind was Oskar von Hindenburg
The field officer was likely an "Oberst Schreiber" according to the caption of an Osprey publication, not exactly a trustworthy, definitive source. But he was the Kdr. of Wachregiment Berlin, as you can see him later with Wolfgang Fleck and Wilhelm Heye. His identification as "Schreiber" could have come from being mixed up with Kurt Schreiber.
Here's Schreiber as Generalluftschutzführer in healthier days with von Roques, looking a lot better than he was with Ludwig Wolff as Kdr. Luftgau XI, Hannover
Cheers

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Well done on Teschner. You can see from Andrey's pic that he had his left arm missing. As evidenced here of Teschner in WW1graveland wrote:Hi Andrey!Andrey wrote:Hello,
Help me with this PLM-holder Heer Generalleutnant(?) in Paris 1940.
Source on photo.
Thanks,
Andrey.
I think your General could be Otto Teschner. Note:
Another poor photo...
Cheers.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Unlikely: had to be a protestant noble with a Johanniter. Must be the then Oberstleutnant Karl v. Tiedemann, commanding the Kommando der Wachtruppe. But he was the Kmdr of Berlin Wachregiments, as you can see him later with Wolfgang Fleck and Wilhelm Heye. His identification as "Schreiber" could have come from being mixed up with Kurt Schreiber.

Elwyn,
Foto with Hindenburg third from left you mean Otto Hasse wearing PLM as Kdr. 3. Div., Berlin.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Wish my data base was 100% relational. I did have these that I had filed under v Tiedemann already. Just that v Tiedemann's more readily available pictures had him looking much older and I never made the connection.
And yes, I meant v Haase

Hello friends!
Is it [Dr. rer. pol.] Karl Spalcke? Other photo: similary? (Reichswehr) It is autumn maneuvers of the 1. Division in East Prussia:
''September 5, 1927: Cross the Alle river near Stolzenfeld''
1 Reiter-Regiment proceed the pontoon bridge w/hourses.
And at the head of column — Oberleutnant Karl Spalcke? l a r g e : ''Rangliste des Deutschen Reichsheeres''
(He had E.K.I and silber wound-badge)
