Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Hi all, is this the later-general Kurt Frhr. von Hammerstein-Equord? Or Günther von Hammerstein-Equord? Or neither?! I think it is Kurt but his known awards do not match the ribbon bar. Source is on the photo.
Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
This is Günther von Hammerstein-Equord. That´s for sure!

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Bonjour, for me it's Generalleutnant z.V. Günther Freiherr von HAMMERSTEIN-EQUORD. Günther received HH and LüH (seen on the ribbonbar); Kurt received OK1. Crdl

Who is the general behind Erich Raeder? The picture was taken at Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Reichenau's funeral, 23 January 1942. Source: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... chenau.jpg

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Can anyone tell me who the General is in between Gerlach and Jaenecke - taken at the time Jaenecke was Military Commander in France. I have scanned pencil writing on reverse of photo
Thanks
