Who is this LW Generalmajor? A relative posted the photo on another forum in reference to the text on the back and it was suggested that the writing identifies him as Günther Langenschadt... problem is that I am not able to find a German general with that name... can anyone recognize him?

Yes, that´s what we can see on the pic. If you look onto his shoulder boards you will recognize that.

I tried to find out a man with this name in Dienstaltersliste A1, A2 and A3 from 1944 but there is no similar name. I would assume he was an d.R. or z.V. officer who were listed in other Dienstalterslisten.
