At left is Werner Ostendorff, at right Freiherr von der Heydte

Dieter Z.
So, is it Günther-Eberhardt Wisliceny like John said, or Werner Ostendorff, Dieter?

I think, to see from the nose, it's more like Ostendorff than Wisliceny...

For the pic number 3, yes I think it's Klingenberg...

I don't mean to be rude but can we keep this thread for generals. Poor Bernd is doing a thankless job trying to get all the RK -references and this is not helping.

Just seen this ! Thanks, Freiherr, for giving the colleague the hint.

AlifRafikKhan,
we don't play the Spanish Inquisition here, but please, do me, some others and the forum (space, costs) a favour. Don't post photographs and persons, which appear on the forum a dozen times. I don't know that but I bet with you that there are 15+ pics of Fritz Klingenberg in the forum. We have a search function and - if you say you don't know who is on the pic - there are a lot of threads with pics you could navigate through eventually before you put a request. And Yes, generals here, KC holders in the other sticky, please !
If there is a special issue with a pic which requires a topic on itself, do it, no problem.

And - give a proper credit / source for the pics you are posting, thanks.

Bernd / Mod

Thank you so much, freiherr. By the way, I think your man could be the Generalmajor Johannes-Oskar Brauer

All the best,

Gregg.

Hi,

I don´t think so, freiherr.

Another pic from http://www.ullsteinbild.de. Who are these men? My supposition (left to right): Keitel (very easy), Otto Dessloch and Generalmajor der Luftwaffe Dipl. Ing. Gerhard Bassenge. Opinions, please.

Cheers,

Gregg.

Yes, Obst and then GenMj Gerhard Bassenge, CdS Dt LW Mission un Rumänien. You can actaully see his Kriegserinnerungs-Ärmelband “JG Boelcke Nr. 2 1916/1918". Interestingly Mehner had him down as CdS all the way to early 1943, punctuated briefly by Bruno Maaß. I thought it was pretty obvious he had gone to Afrika, ultimately POW. Could it be a Mehner typo?

Standing next to him was actually Wilhlem Spiedel, Chef Dt LW Mission un Rumänien. The ABR/Biblio pic did no justice to this man. It bears no resemblance to him

And don't forget Erich Hansen behind Keitel.

Cheers
Freiherr
