It is Erasmus von Malsen-Ponickau behind Greiser, isn´t it?

Hello all,

i have made a screenshot from a youtube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=OKnfHrSLdAw minute 8.20 ) and would like to know the IDs of the two generals?

if i remember correctly, one was identified as GdI Victor von Schwedler before, now the comment claims that this is von Reichenau? - i would still go for Schwedler, but a confirmation would be appreciated.

kind regards,
Matteus

Is the same guy? General der Kavallerie Diether von Boehm-Bezing?

Nope, it was v Schwedler IV Korps with Carl-Heinrich v Stülpnagel (must be as Vorsitzender Waffenstillstandskommsion after victory in France) as v Schwedler had a RK dangling off his neck. Same v Stülpnagel on two different occasions. Right behind v Schwedler with glasses was his Ia Obst Otto Beutler.

Can't remember if it were me who actually mis-guessed it as Boehm Benzing. In any case these were either clips from the Third Reich in Colour or from v Rothkirch u Trach 's collage (he was a home movie enthusiast). In the former, the narration was good but for a different purpose, often bearing no direct information on the subject matter.

Cheers

OK, time to exorcise what you think Carl Heinrich would look like from that horrid internet stock pic. Here's a more realistic one. It's damn confusing but I lean toward Stülpnagel if only because v Rothkirch didn't make full General until 1944

I agree with Elwyn. The smiling general looks to me Carl-Heinrich von STÜLPNAGEL rather than ROTHKIRCH or BOEHM-BEZING.
Cheers.

Hi,

Here's a general mounted on horseback. Can someone identify him?

On page 190 there is a foto (admiral.jpg (108.82 KiB) Viewed 282 times) of Vizeadmiral identifyed as Werner Fuchs but for me the ribbon bar doesn't fit.

I went through Biblios books of Deutschlands Admirale 1849-1945 and my findings are that this also could be:
- Admiral Hermann Densch
- Admiral Willy Nordeck
- Viceadmiral Otto Feige
- Viceadmiral Siegfried Massmann
- Viceadmiral Robert Witthoeft-Emden
but I don't have any good pics to compare with.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Lado

Who is the Luftwaffe general in the pic of KG 53 RK-Verleihung posted by Oberstab (= Dieter Zinke) in the KC holders Identification thread?

Interesting video shows GFM List, GdI von Wietersheim and GdP Crüwell probably Balkans 1941? But who 4th man back to camera? Looks like Panzertruppen Oberst, he flashes in first seconds of video, on the left side of List.
