They were from left Ribbentrop, Döme Sztójay Hungarian PM, x, Gauleiter Dr. Gustav-Adolf Scheel, Emil Zellner Bfhb. Operationsgebiet Ostungarn, Edmund Veesenmeyer, Albert Bormann.

Dear All,

Would any one be able to identify the Luftwaffe officer in this photo seen inspecting JG 27 early in the war?

It appears as if he held senior rank - possibly a Generalmajor.

Sorry, Dieter, but can't agree with you. On the photos 2 different people, the large differences in eyes forms, eyebrows size and forms, ears and noses. :milsmile:
