Any ideas on this General? I know it is not a great photo of him.

Hmmm Dieter,

That makes him Egon Bönner when he was a vize chef.

Yes, it's indeed Egon Bönner,
30.01.1942 SA-Standartenführer
04.12.1942 Militärverwaltungschef
Militärverwaltungschef beim Militärbefehlshaber Südost in Belgrad
then Militärverwaltungschef beim Befehlshaber im Bezirk Südwestfrankreich (Angers) / then beim Befehlshaber Abschnitt III (Marne) (durch Umbenennung) / then Militärverwaltungschef beim Korps Feldt (durch erneute Umbenennung)
then Staatskommissar und Bürgermeister der Gauhauptstadt Hannover

These two generals have been on display in e-bay.
The one in Norway looks like Hans DEGEN but I´m not fully convinced.
The other looks familiar but I cann´t put a name on it.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi, miocid.

Well, by process of elimination, I would definitely say he is not Degen. Why? Degen did not receive the Iron Cross 1st Class during I World War. And with regard to the second general, he looks like to me General der Pioniere Karl Sachs. Well then, what´s your verdict?

Cheers.

Mots if not all photos in that album was from Bergen, Norway.
The general in the picture is Territorialbefehlshaber Bergen Curt Badinski.

Absolutely not Badinski but the next Kmdr of 269 ID Hans Wagner RKT, DKiG.

I think the LW man was only an Obst. Seller said Gen but I think he is wrong.
