Thank you everybody for your response to my inquiry.
I think that the identification of RAITHEL made by Elwyn is correct rather than FANGHOR. Congratulations.
Regarding the picture with GUDERIAN and another general, I realize that its poor resolution makes difficult to get a positive ID. But one thing I´ve got for sure, none of the three pics claimed to be KAEMPFE show the same person. Therefore I think we should give credit again to Elwyn for his Fritz SCHLIEPPER ID.
I hope that this new year will keep this thread much more interesting. I will try to contribute to it by going through forgotten files with "unknown generals".
Best regards.

Would say Foto 2 by Docarchiv was Wolfgang Schmidt-Logan.

BTW, Doc, are Foto 2 and 3 from the same occasion? And Foto 6,7,8 and 9?

Cheers
Elwyn

Hello, Enzus!

It's General der Panzertruppe Walther Nehring KG of DAK. :)

Some basic info you may find here:

Hi Ruslan,

thanks for your really quick answer. Probabily the pics were taken close to Kuweist Ridge after 15th of July fightings against 2nd NZ Division. Who was the Aid de Camp on the right of General Nehring?

Enzus,

From this angle man in pith helmet on the right, looks like Kurt Kuhlmey kommandeur of II. StukaG 3 at the time.

Hi Ruslan,

the Aid de Camp looks really so close to Kurt Kuhlmey. It was a small field cerimony for Iron cross Awards after large fightings.
Did u never find a german officer named "RAMBEIN" in D.A.K. on July 1942?
Thanks again.
