Dear All,

Would any one be able to identify the Luftwaffe officer in this photo seen inspecting JG 27 early in the war?

It appears as if he held senior rank - possibly a Generalmajor.

Many thanks,

Robert Forsyth

Sorry, Dieter, but can't agree with you. On the photos 2 different people, the large differences in eyes forms, eyebrows size and forms, ears and noses.

Best wishes

The first picture posted by Graveland is Gen.Lt. Hellmuth KOCH. There´s have been quite a bit pics of this general lately on ebay.
The general on the second picture (a nice one by the way) continues to be a mistery for me so far; but he doesn´t look to me like MATTENKLOTT.

Cheers.

Good day to all!

Man on the left, may it be future GM Günther Schwartzkopff? Or this is false alarm from my eyes? :D Thanks in advance!

I think you are right it was Schwarzkopff as Kmdr StukaG 165 or 77. I have this earlier one taken as Kmdr of Fliegerschule Celle.

Who is the general (Ritterkreuzträger?) below Skorzeny raised hand? On the right I believe is Militärverwaltungsvizechef Dr. Fritz Reinhardt...
