Alif,
on the pedestal is Guderian with Generalmajor Wiktorin (Kdr. 20. ID (mot.)), at right is Oberst i.G. Walther Nehring.
The name of the Russian general: Kriwoschein. Brest-Litowsk 21.09.1939.

Hi Ruslan,

That was indeed Hermann Geyer 5 Div and shortly after V Korps.

Cheers

"In vino veritas", Elwyn. :D Thank you very much!

Ribera del Duero is an excellent choice.

All the best,

Hello boys!

My Anschluss question: Who is the fourth general in question... apart from List, Veiel and Materna?

Cheers.

Well done Christian, indeed Beyer. It was on my very many to-do lists.

Who was the tiny peek of a man to List's left shoulder? Also very tall man in helmet next to Ruoff was Strauß?

Cheers

Hi Elwyn,

It is very hard to tell!

At first, the tall man in helmet was identified as STRAUß, but I still thinking that he is Erich CLÖßNER... and the man behind him is Otto WÖHLER.

Kind regards,

Gregg.

Hi Gregg,

I certainly agree with Wöhler.

Bit stumped on this one from Ebay. Thought it was a slam dunk with Bacmeister but the man would not be entitled to a WM uniform and was dead in 1938 before the soldiers took off the cross belts. Went up and down my PLM file to no avail. Of course it doesn't have to be a PLM. But never saw any self respecting general doing a Parade an der Spitze with a Johaniter! Some other Kaiserliche orden 1 Klasse or 2 Klasse maybe

Cheers

just an idea: GenObst Wilhelm Heye. Mustache and PLM would fit.

Hi,

should not be Kienitz as commanding general of XVII. AK on the pic? I never have seen a pic of him.

Christian

the officer ID'd as Rudolf Meltzer (p 312) looks a lot like Ernst-Günther Baade?
