If Ruslan and Miocid were right about Karl Held in the pics in the above link, then gen #4 can only be v Saur... after all, we see another fat ribbon in the buttonhole that looks even more like the MMJO this time

Here we have the same gang from L-R

- Who was the RTK that was presumably Wachenfeld's Chef or Ia?
- Ginckel, I think
- Kaspar
- our man in question
- Hans Georg Hofmann
- x
- Wachenfeld
- Graf

Cheers

Hi!

In an alternative version, it may be Generalleutnant von Kieffer, commandant of München?

Best wishes

maybe it would be easier with a right picture....

Ritter von Kieffer is a good idea. He owned MMJO. Here a pic of him for comparing.

Must agree von Kieffer is a strong possibility even though it was said to be Held.

Two more unknown persons from old files.
The first one is a general with his wife. The source read "weitze".
The second one has been downloaded from the site "lostbulgaria" and the occasion was the funeral in Belgrad for King Boris of Bulgaria.
Your help would be much appreciated.

Hi Ruslan,

I'm not disagreeing with your ID of Karl von Roques, but it seems odd that he's dressed up, wearing his sword, but not wearing his Pour le Merite. Could it be Franz von Roques instead? Food for thought.

Very best regards,

VJK

Thanks Ruslan for your help. ROQUES´s features were familiar to me but I could not fix it.
Here we have one more unknown to me.
These two pictures come from an album auctioned on ebay sometime ago. Most of the album showed training grounds around Thorn in East Prussia.
On the first picture we have the unknown general with General Major Otto von HÜPEDEN (3) and the same general on the second picture. WHO IS HIM?
Regards.

Hello, Valdis!

But von Roques not a PLM holder, only Johanniter in his treasury?
WHO IS HIM?
Hello, Esteban!

Generalleutnant z.V. Max Noack, v. Hüpeden's commander. :)

Best wishes
Ruslan
