Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Looks like Kurt Freiherr von Liebenstein to me
Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
The Afrika Korps General is Fritz Krause.

I think Walther Krause rather than Fritz.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
It is Generalmajor Fritz Krause, not Generalleutnant Walther Krause. Walther Krause did not fight in the Afrika Korps.

Thanks, VJK.
Based on facial recognition I believe he is Walther Krause. How do we know that the man fought in DAK?

No doubt! It is Fritz Krause, see

Click on "German", then click on "Generale Truppenoffiziere", then "K" - and you will find some pics for comparison.

In the same picture on PP 435 with Hermann Boettcher was PLM Max v Mertens, later GenMj. Boettcher was Ldw Kmdt v Hannover and v Mertens was Ausbildungsleiter Hannover. Then former was Kmdr 216 ID and latter was Kmdr AR 216.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
"077" on PP 421 was Rudolf v Tschudi. It matches a much smaller pic I have of of the same event with the Italian political figure and architectural structure in the back drop. Also matches Sammlung Krug.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
PP 414 Heer general standing in front of Flak cannons was NOT Köstring.
That was Kurt Schreiber, former Kmdt v Berlin and here as Kmdt v Hannover shaking hands with Ludwig Wolff as Kmdt v Luftgau XI Hannover. Schreiber was Generalluftschutzführer while v Roques was Präsident.
Here's a shoddy pic of the same occasion.
