Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Can't remember what page this was on [page 422, Dieter/mod.]. But Moritz Faber du Faur on the left.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
No way on PP 394 Photo "4042" was Anatol Graf v Bredow. v Bredow was a PLM, not to mention the man in question did not remotely look like Anatol.
Man was at the riding school in München run by Waldemar Fegelein and his more notorious brother. So Karl Graf!

Dou you know his name? The same german general, two snapshots. I think he could be Ernst Seifert, Kommandant von Berlin.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Welcome back Elwyn! It´s been a long time with no news from you.
I guess you´ve identified one of the two generals as FABER du FAUR. I think it´s Josef FOLTTMANN instead.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Haha, thanks. I have been busy with kaiserliche generäle and WW1 OOB, as usual.
You are very likely right with Flottmann ... need to figure out the other guy for confirmation.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Looking to ID this general. Thanks in advance!
Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Go to page #345.
The Militärverwaltungsvizechef was almost certainly identified by Dieter Zinke as Gottfried Aschmann.
Cheers.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
No, you had it right the first time.
Barckhausen with that aquiline nose on the left as Heeresfeldzeugmeister.
Obst Geitner as Kmdt d Heeresfeuerwerkerschule Berlin Lichterfelde in the middle.
But not Seifert on the right. As proven by the additional pic you posted, your top 3 and bottom right were Seifert -- a photogenic matinee idol of a Wehrmacht general.
Interesting you mentioend Geib in your PM -- Theodor Geib was Barckhausen's predecessor as Heeresfeldzeugmeister. To me he might be the man literally over Barckhausen's shoulder -- although with strict Prussian decorum, I would doubt if you would leave your predecessor like that in the back.
