Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Thank you
Any idea who these two are? Could the one on the left be Generaloberst List?

Who is the general? Otto Deindl?

Looks like him as far as I am concerned, never seen this before. In May 1942 was Kdr. rückwartiges Armeegebiet 556.

The first is 100% Schwandner - it's a crop of an official photo in Oct 1938, parade in Sudetenland. The second is 100% NOT Schwandner. Feel free to PM me.Rossano wrote:Hello
I post 2 photos, one said to be Suttner, the other one said to be Schwandner
neither this Suttner looks like others of Suttner nor this Schwandner looks like others of Schwandner.
What I see is that both these generals look pretty similar to each other, am I wrong ?
Are both confirmed 100% to be Suttner and Schwandner, or who ?
Thanks, Rossano

Absolutely not Schwandner. Feel free to PMmiocid wrote:Correction to be made:
Picture @50 on page 546 is NOT MEYER-RABINGEN but Gen.d.Inf. Maximilian SCHWANDNER.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
I don't understand ... why does the text say they are Raeder and Brauchitsch (which they are definitely not)?

Yeah, I have to admit that the resemblance is striking.harmel wrote:Looks like him as far as I am concerned, never seen this before. In May 1942 was Kdr. rückwartiges Armeegebiet 556
