Any ID? Who is the Admiral (he definitely did not serve in the Kriegsmarine, he is a Kaiserliche Marine-Admiral).

I think the general posted by me isn't Walter Kuntze because he didn't receive his Bar to the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class until January 1942 but Adolf-Friedrich Kuntzen received his in September 1939. The general is showing the rank of Generalmajor which still fits with Kuntzen who wasn't promoted to GL until April 1940. Walter Kuntze was already a General der Pioniere by February 1938. It does look like Kuntzen.

Does anyone recognize the Bundeswehr General left (most likely holder of Deutsches Kreuz in Gold)? The face of the man with the red cross is also familar to me but I dont remeber where. The pic was taken in 1962 in Hildesheim.
