I would not have thought so. General Prieß was a former Prussian infantry officer with a completely different array of decorations. Judging by the uniform and decorations of this chap, he is Bavarian and serving in the artillery or engineers (or even signals as yellow can look very dark in black and white photos).Officer 1 maybe Helmut Priess
