Another one, Rommel visiting the Westwall 1939 - or that is the caption of the picture from Bundesarchive?

I think that is wrong, this picture is typical for Rommels inspections in 1944 and that bunker is for sure a Regelbau - or what do you think?

Yes, indeed! The other officer is Major der Reserve Alfred Becker.

The Ritterkreuzträger officer (far right) is Generalleutnant Hermann Meyer-Rabingen. And Oberstleutnant Kurt Krappe .

Yes Oberstleutnant Kurt Krappe - Kommandeur Inf.Rgt. (Ind.) 950 and GL Meyer-Rabingen was commandant 159 Res.Div.

I have a couple more pictures from E-Bay.de auctions this week.
Maybe these two are "related" as both (I think) Ruge and Meise are in both pictures?
It could be from 16 - 19 of january 1944 when they inspected Seine Mündung area.
Maybe we can ID some more of the officers?

Hello all

I Found some pictures (stills from a German propaganda movie) which shows Rommel visit Jagdgeschwader Schlageter and Oblt. Josef Priller at the Airport at Bondues between St. Omer and Lille at Wednesday the 5th of january 1944.

In Hans Sakkers book about Rommel on pages 51 - 52 - 53 we actually can see pictures showing this movie being made.

Gen Kdo XXV A.K. , end 1944 this General was Befehlshaber Bretagne ( all pockets ) in Lorient .
