Hello

What is the source of this picture, please :-)

And - no I have no answer for location - yet!

But, a wild guess is - somewhere in Normandy, after D-Day - maybe :-)

Hello

I have come to that also - but - if fall 1944 after D-Day - Rommel were wounded, away from Normandy and after october he was quite indisposed :-)

So I think it is spring (early spring 1944) - what do you guys think?

Hello Gravekand

Batterie Rozenburg ( Hoek van Holland ) during a visit at 26-03-1944 , on your photo on the left the SeeKo Süd-Holland Frank Aschmann .
On the left of Rommel the Gen.d.Inf Reinhardt and on the right next to Rommel and Lang the Gen.Maj.Wahle. The officer with helmet
and binoculars must be the Batterie kommandant, see also the photo below from the same visit from the book Generalfeldmarschall Rommel.

Regards Jos

I already knew the identity of the two generals, I was hoping someone could share a higher quality version.

Thank you, Jos.
