Field Marshal (Generalfeldmarschall) Erwin Rommel and Colonel (Oberst) Fritz Bayerlein. The officer on the right seems to be the commander (Major) Ziegler.

The picture was taken at the Battle of El Alamein(October-November 1942). Does someone know the Christian name of Major Ziegler and what was his position at that time?
