I'm curious about the circular badge worn by Epp in this photo. Possibly a commemorative badge ("tinnie") for the Gauparteitag?
Hi Mike,

In which Austrian city did this district meeting (Gauparteitag) take place, there are different austrian badges from that time / year..?

Hans
As stated in my post: Photo taken in Linz, during the “Gauparteitag Oberösterreich der NSDAP”, 06.06.1932.

Thanks Mike,

then this badge should answer your question...: https://www.richard-militaria.at/neue-a ... -linz-1932

It should be a hit, the badge is unknown to me personally.
A rating of such a badge is left to the buyer, it is not to be rated...

Thank you, Hans, but I don't think so. The badge in your link is for an event occurring 17.-18.09.1932. The Göring and Epp photo was taken 06.06.1932.

Photo taken during the same event. Left to right: Göring, unknown, Theo Habicht, and Alfred Proksch.
The badge worn by Proksch is likely the same one worn by Epp. Can't make out any details but it was almost surely struck to mark the occasion of this Gauparteitag.
