In the Rangliste des Deutschen Heeres 1944/45 there are two officers named Obst
1 In Dienstaltersliste T as Oberstlt 1.12.43 (9) Kdr Wehrbezirkskkommando Böhmisch Leipa
2 in Dienstaltrersliste S as Oberst 1.4.39 (50) Kdr Wehrbezirkskommando Hamburg I

Proposal of Herr Doktor is interesting because 182 Reserve Division was in France known as Nanziger Division but not listed in Gen Major unless Gen Major zV
Phil, the second one in regard of age and rang could fit.
