This the one you are looking for?

Rößler/Röhsler [his file has both spellings, Germans sometimes changed the ß to hs]

Friedrich Robert Fritz, * 26.6.1889 in Riga, served in the Imperial Russian and Latvian armies before joining the Wehrmacht. After leaving the Latvian Army because of the Soviet annexation, he went through an evaluation period and then came into the Wehrmacht as an Oberstleutnant on 1.11.40, and later received an RDA of 1.4.41(27). He was promoted to Oberst with an RDA of 1.1.44(1).

He was an artillery officer, so probably your guy. Here are his commands:

9.2.41-24.2.43 Kdr. Heeres-Küst.-Art.-Abt. 829
25.2.43-21.8.44 Kdr. Heeres-Küst.-Art.-Regt. 752

As I mentioned in your other thread, I probably have some more names, but I am already late getting on the highway.

I have in 1944 as Kdr. Gren.Rgt.115 (47.ID) an Oberst Baumann, do You know his first name ?
Baumann, Hannsjosef, * 3.3.1895 in Dettelbach am Main, Bavaria. He previously commanded II./GR 463 and GR 483. Maj. on 1.1.38, OTL on 1.3.41, Oberst on 1.9.42. He received the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on 2.4.42.

I don't have anything on the others.

His file is almost illegible due to poor microfilming, but I believe you and the Bundesarchiv are correct that it is Felix. The only picture I have is the poor-quality one from the microfilm. Note that his own signature is Röhsler.

Hello
I have him last as Kdt. AR. Kreta, but uncertain whether until 5.45 or until 1.45 only. Who has official evidence for that ?

Hello !

Regarding Oberst Jurkschat, mentioned in post #5 :
viewtopic.php?p=1819621#p1819621

You can find his index card giving first name as "Hans" in T78 R917 F1852 :
03.07.43 Kdr. Res.Gren.Rgt. 71
01.01.44 Kdr. Gren.Rgt 127 (formed by redesigantion of Res.GrenRgt 71)

Last known position : Kdr. Brigade 1005

Best regards,
hero.
