Iam looking for as much information as possible on Egon Mayer who flew with JG 2. All information would be much appreciated but ideally I would love to have or find out where I can get hold of his combat report for June 23rd 1943 as iam trying to get to the bottom of the combat with the 56th fighter group which took place on this day.

What information do you have that suggests he flew this day? It appears JG 2 was not in the air on June 23, 1943 according to Erik Mombeeck.
