Sorry but this could not be the right date for the KC award , it should be in Febr. 1942

..and you forgot the ISA award - this could be in 1943 ! ( I'll have a look once more 8-) )

Look...this should be right date because he himself also dated his photos - with the awarding of the KC - in Febr. 1942
( I know that because I own his complete heritage ! )

Here you see him with his various awards:

#1- wounded badge - photo from 1939 - ( awarded already during the WW 1 )
#2 - KC awarded - in Febr. 1942
#3 - with ISA award - in April 1943 ( other with the ISA are from Jan. 1943 - so he should have recieved this in the time between the KC and Jan. 1943 !)
#4 - with the DKIG - May 1944

And a few more:

Fürstl. Hohenzollernsches Ehrenkreuz III. Klasse mit Schwertern
Fürstl. Lippisches Kriegsverdienstkreuz
k.u.k. Österreichisches Militär-Verdienstkreuz III. Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration
Ostmedaille (Although no photographic or documentary evidence has been seen regarding de Salengre-Drabbe’s possession of this distinction, it seems probable he was awarded it.)
