As we discussed here, Fritz Kühne was a short-time PoW in May 1940.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Part 6: Western Front 1945 (January to March)
Years ago, when I started this thread, I intended to stop with 30 April 1945, the day of Hitler's suicide. As it appears now, the whole month of April is a very complicated and nebulous affair, with all fronts converging and numerous unoccupied or even retired generals being captured. Therefore and for the time being, I will use 31 March 1945 as the temporary end date.
