Thanks a lot Stauffenberg.I had a bit of luck myself today as I found Alexander Löhr in a Austrian uniform
Funny enough I too live in a garrison city (the biggest garrison in Denmark)which doesn't say a lot..
And thanks to you too VJK that is indeed a very rare pic..worth a lot to me....
Latvia I see.well not that long ago I found almost the entire Latvian Army 1937 (generals that is) in one pic. That was very exciting.
pushing my luck again with odd pics.Jozsef Grassy commanded the Hungarian SS Division...(forgot the name now.. anyone has a pic of him?
Kind Regards

These are indeed very fine pics thanks a lot both VJK and Glenn.I wonder if you could tell me where you got that Grassy pic from Glenn..from a book I suppose.Hungarian generals are almost impossible to find on the web...
Adolf Müller well as said I do have a pic I had scanned from a very old book. The pic is of miserable quality but I will go look for it and then I will try and post it here(if I can find my way around that....
Kind Regards

Müller
Søren,
the picture of Grassy was reproduced in "Österreichs höhere SS-Führer" by Nikolaus von Preradovich which is sadly long out of print. The Generalleutnant Alfred Müller which VJ mentions died in an accident on the 29th of October 1925.
The book "The Hungarian Army and its Military Leadership in World War II" by Andris Kursietis contains many photographs of senior Hungarian general officers. It is published by Axis Europa, ISBN: 1-891227-08-4

Brantner
Gareth,
I have been looking for a picture of Brantner. So far unsuccessfully. I spoke to a friend on the staff of the Heeresgeschichtlichesmuseum in Vienna and even they don't have one! I'll keep at it.
Regards
Glenn
