Richter Rangdienstalter
I have an interest in all thing Heeresverwaltungs and in my search for information I came across this rank list.
It is for the Reichkriegsrichter career. I believe the ledger - it's all hand written - was started some where around 28.6.42 and I have seen a "gestorben" notice dated 15.2.45, which leads me to believe it was updated till the end of the war.
It comes from NARA T78 Roll 63 (pts 1 and 2 of the CD set)
I hope it is of use to the community at large.
All I ask in return is that someone please post the names both first and last for those of use that can't read the script. It's going to take awhile as there are over 100 scans to the list and I need to resize etc.
Enjoy
Cheers
Larry

Re: Richter rank list
Thank you very much! Not only some rank dates, but also many dates of birth are new to me. The names of the Generalrichter (after Lueben) are:
Karl Thissen
Hans Bockelberg
Dr. Ernst Reuter
Dr. Otto Schikarski
Dr. Johannes Conrad
Otto Barwinski
Robert Waldeck
Dr. Karl Lotter
Dr. Helmuth Rosencrantz
Dr. Erich Lattmann
Dr. Alfred Grün
Henning Freiherr von Beust
Dr. Adolf Block
Dr. Joseph Prause
Dr. Otto Grünewald
Ernst Wunderlich
For some strange reason, several GR are listed with ranks of 1946 and even 1947! As far as I know, these officers had all reached general's rank when the new Laufbahn and the new ranks were introduced, but they were ohne RDA at first. Most of them got a RDA of 01.04.1945 later.

There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
