No, I am not sure.

Well, according to his bio, he was wounded once in 1945. And the Wound Badge in Black was for those wounded once or twice by hostile action (including air raids). So he must have gotten the black one.

Yes, they were brothers. Another brother was Herbert Kienast, * 07.02.1890 in Königsberg, who was a Pionier officer in the army, reaching the rank of Oberst on 01.03.1943.

The Crew Chronik for the Crew of 1909 also lists the Oldenburg Friedrich-August-Kreuz 2. Klasse, but this is not in the Reichsmarine rank lists, so it may be in error. No Third Reich-era awards are listed there, but he would have had the Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer and the Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung 4. bis 1. Klasse at a minimum.

The Lübeck Hanseatenkreuz was awarded on 14.3.1918. I don't have dates for the others. The Württemberg Friedrichs-Orden was not gazetted in the Württemberg Militärverordnungsblatt (neither was Herbert's, for some reason).
