Thanks, that makes sense, the officer in question is Vizeadmiral Adolf Pfeiffer.
Do you perhaps know what does BK4 mean, awarded to Admiral Heusinger von Waldegg?
And SW2b, awarded to Admiral Max Bastian?

I do not know where you got "BK4" from. In the 1914 navy rank list, Heusinger v. Waldegg has the "BKO3". This is the Belgian Order of the Crown, Commander's Cross (Ordre de la Couronne/Kroonorde, Commandeur)

I can see both the
-Olympia-Erinnerungsmedaille 1936
-Orden des Heiligen Schatzes (Japan) (what class?)
What about the Flotten-Kriegsabzeichen? What is the award right of Kriegsabzeichen für Hilfskreuzer mit Brillanten on the first photo?

That's the non-combatant ribbon, so not correct. It is the combatant ribbon.

But there are no Swords on Canaris's ribbon? The combatant version of the Hungarian Commemorative Medal had the Swords.
