Feldkommandant Troyes: von Sachs ?

#1

Post by Georges JEROME » 06 Sep 2018, 01:23

Found this reference to a Feldkommandant von Sachs at Troyes.
no general rank Sachs fit. Any comment upon this insert.
Best regards

Hello, interesting reference.
But why a general ? Maybe he was an Otl. or an Ob.
In the reference I read Troyes nowhere. Also, is there any date ?

Could it be him:

Ing. Hermann von SACHS
1934 Hauptmann
1939 II/Art.Rgt. 71
30.01.1945 Oberst
Best regards

For FK Troyes You certainly mean FK 533, or another FK ?
When should Your v. Sachs habe been in command of that FK, do You have any date ?
In any case FK 533 became FK in june 42 (before it was first OK and then KK until june 42).
From dec. 42 until sept. 44 FK 533 was commanded by other generals.
But I still miss the officer who commanded it from june to dec. 42, maybe Your von Sachs ?
