I think the number written for the Ritterkreuz des Königlich Preußischen Hausordens von Hohenzollern is a 5 rather than 3. The line on top goes to the right (like a 5) and not to the left (like a 3).

Also, I think the correct award date for the Ehrenritterkreuz II. Klasse des Großherzoglich Oldenburgischen Haus- und Verdienstordens des Herzogs Peter Friedrich Ludwig mit der Silbernen Krone is 17. 09. 1907 because this date is written among his other decorations after OV3b. The other document could just be an announcement of the decorating that happened two days before.

The Tuscan order includes classes :
I. Klasse = Großkreuz,
II. Klasse = Kommandeur,
III. Klasse = Ritter.

The ribbon of the order is red with a wide edge stripe on both sides. The Grand Cross was attached to the shoulder strap from the right shoulder to the left hip. The commander's cross is worn around the neck, the knight's cross in the buttonhole or on the left side of the chest.
The Grand Cross includes a silver breast star of the same shape and type, but without a crown.
On special occasions, the Grand Cross is worn around the neck as a collar.
I think he received the Grand Cross, but during the translation or during a ceremony, he was seen wearing the decoration around his neck with the chest plate. which may have caused this error, moreover the order does not include the addition of swords.

Yes, I agree it's a 5 for the HOH3x.

But, I still think the correct award date for the OV3b is 17. 09. 1907 and the 19. 09. 1907 is just the announcement of the decorating that happened two days before. The Seeoffiziere Gesamtliste also gives the date 17. 09. 1907. I will trust this date then.

Even though the award date of the Großkreuz des Königlich Schwedischen Schwertordens is listed as 24. 10. 1940, the correct award date (based on Swedish sources) is 18. 10. 1940.

There are two dates for the Großoffizierskreuz des Chilenischen Verdienstordens, 00. 09. 1928 and 00. 08. 1930. Since the second date is written in the period document of the Personalakte, and the first one was written down by a researcher, I would trust the second date.

1. We must choose the date for his Königlich Preußisches Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen in Silber. Personalakte says 07. 06. 1913 and his Soldbuch that Thierry posted before says 17. 06. 1913. Which one is correct? Both could be correct, but we still need to choose one. It's hard to decide, but I personally would choose the 17. 06. 1913 date from the Soldbuch.

2. We already commented (and agreed) on the dates of his RK and Eichenlaub zum RK. I think this remains unchanged. 21. 04. 1940. for the Ritterkreuz (it even says so on the first document from the Personalakte where it was corrected from 20. to 21.) and 06. 04. 1943 for the Eichenlaub. Do you agree?

3. I noticed something odd with the dates for the Großherrlich Osmanische Silberne Liakat-Medaille mit Säbeln and the Großherrlich Osmanische Kriegsmedaille (Eiserner Halbmond). You can see that both the Soldbuch posted before by Thierry and the documents in the Personalakte give no dates for these two awards. And yet the dates I have (that come from books) have the same date as the EK II. (07. 11. 1914) for his Liakat Medaille and the same date but different year (07. 11. 1916) for the Eiserner Halbmond.
I think these are wrong award dates (probably made up by the authors of the books) and they should be deleted since there are no award dates written for these two awards anywhere in the primary sources. Do you agree they should be deleted and those two awards left without the award dates?
