There is another 3-place ribbon bar belong to Gadow, with foreign awards like this one. It has the silver "wings" on the Romanian Order but NOT on the Bulgarian award. If it is the Officer Grade perhaps it was awarded before the War.

I also thought about the Bavarian Jubilee Medal. Gebhardt was born in Grünstadt, Pfalz. On the English wiki it says "After Napoleon's downfall, Grünstadt passed in 1816 to the Kingdom of Bavaria. It remained Bavarian for exactly 130 years, until the new state of Rhineland-Palatinate was founded in 1946." So I guess Gebhardt was a Bavarian native? What do you think?
