Who could know the Hauptmann und Orstkommandant Moeller of the Kommandantur of Namur, Belgium, at the end of Septembre 1942? Any biographical notes are appreciated. Thank you!

This is the letter where I found the name of this Hauptmann Moeller. I would like to include this letter into an historical paper to be published here in Namur. It is why some biographical notes about this Moeller will be very useful. Many thanks!

There were doubtless numerous Hauptleute named Moeller (or Möller). Without any additional information like first name, birth date, last rank, peacetime status or other assignments, it will be hard to find him, especially if he was a Reserveoffizier. I will give it a try at the weekend when I have the necessary time.

Regards,
Albert

Unfortunately, I was not able to find this particular Moeller in the Karteien der Infanterieoffiziere from NARA T-78. Some Moellers don't fit because of their rank and assignments. Others may fit, but their cards don't contain any info about 1942 (or even no assignments at all). Maybe someone in Namur (city archive etc.) knows more about him?

Albert,
I thank you very much for the time you spent on this research!
Maybe in Namur indeed.
Have a good day.
Daniel
