Major Reinhard Märker (1903-1943)

Does anyone have a photograph and more information related to Major Richard Märker? Apparently he was in command of s. Pz.Abt. 502, when in Nov. 42 he lost a Tiger Tank and was made a scapegoat (whilst advising of using the Tiger at this terrain) and relieved of command?

Thanks in advance

According to Daniel Moore "Fire and Fury: The German Tiger Battalions on the Eastern and Western Fronts, 1942-1945" he was reassigned to command the 2nd Company, 31st Panzer Regiment, and was killed on 22 February 1943.

So I took a look in the website of the Volksbund and Fold3 and found a Major called Reinhard Märker (born 28.11.1903 Bukarest) who was KIA 22.2.1943 as a member of the staff of II./Panzer Regiment 31. This is definitely the same man, but his first name is not Richard but Reinhard.

Best wishes Bram
